The California Sleep Society (CSS) will be holding its first meeting Saturday, January 26, at 10 a.m. at the School of Sleep Medicine in Palo Alto.

The purpose of the meeting is to inform individuals how they can become a member of CSS and to give an update on the California Respiratory Care Board (RCB). CSS was formed to give sleep technologists a strong, unified voice against the RCB, who voted unanimously last August to begin issuing citations and fines for the unlicensed practice of respiratory care associated with polysomnography.

Please contact CSS Staff Consultant Taylor Frawley at (708) 492-0930 or at tfrawley@aasm.org to get more information on the meeting.
