The American Sleep Medicine Foundation has reorganized its grant program and is offering two new grant opportunities for 2014. The Strategic Research Award (SRA) Category I is for applicants seeking funding for projects up to $250,000; the Category II awards are for projects up to $100,000. The SRA program aims to foster health services research and patient-oriented research in sleep medicine, improve outcomes and demonstrate value.
Applicants should focus on assessment, improvement or innovation of strategies to achieve optimal outcomes, quality, cost-effectiveness or value in the delivery of sleep health care. Applications for these awards are due by Oct. 13.
