AASM Foundation celebrates 20 years with new name and website

Today the American Sleep Medicine Foundation announced it has a new name, the AASM Foundation, and a new website at foundation.aasm.org.

This year marks the 20th anniversary of the AASM Foundation, which was established by the American Academy of Sleep Medicine (AASM) in 1998 to advance sleep research and education. The AASM Foundation has invested in the sleep field by issuing more than $12 million in awards to date.

In addition to a new website, the AASM Foundation also has a new award application platform that streamlines the application process through an online system. Also, a growing staff team is managing current programs and planning new initiatives, and new social media accounts on Facebook and Twitter enable you to remain engaged and join the conversation.
