The AASM is conducting national media outreach to bring much-needed, widespread attention to the consequences of obstructive sleep apnea and the health benefits of treatment. As part of our effort, we are looking for sleep apnea patients who have a success story that they would be willing to share with reporters.
Do you have a patient who has experienced dramatic improvement in his or her health and quality of life as a result of successfully treating sleep apnea? If so, then we would like to hear from you. After securing permission from the patient, and confirming their willingness to talk to the media, please send your name, your patient’s name, and a short description of their success story to the AASM at media@aasm.org.
