Advances in fabrication are transforming mandibular advancement devices (MADs)—also known as oral appliances or sleep mandibular repositioning devices—making them more comfortable, effective, and easier for patients to use in treating obstructive sleep apnea (OSA). The AASM clinical practice guideline recommends, and evidence supports, MADs for treatment of primary snoring and OSA in adults, including those who do not tolerate continuous positive airway pressure (CPAP) or prefer an alternate therapy. Emerging consumer and medical technologies are also expanding access to care and driving innovation in treatment. As designs, materials, and clinical applications continue to evolve, clinicians face growing challenges in staying current. This webinar will provide the essential insights needed to evaluate and integrate the latest MAD technologies into patient care with confidence.
