Dr. Manconi is theHead of the
Service at theSleep andEpilepsy
Centre of theNeurocenter of
SouthernSwitzerland, Lugano,
Switzerland. He is currently involved
in clinical and basic research in the
sleep field, with particular interest in
sleep relatedmotor disorders.

Dr. Sharon completed hermedical
training at Sackler School of
Medicine inTel Aviv, followed by a
psychiatry residency in Israel and
aPhD inpsychology fromTemple
University. She is board certified
in sleepmedicine and has been
practicing inLouisiana for over 15
years. She is the clinical director of
ComprehensiveSleepandResearch
Center and ofAdvancedSleep
Center and is an assistant professor
at theTulaneUniversitySchool of
Medicine inNewOrleanswhere
she initiated the fellowship in sleep
medicine. Her clinical focus is the
diagnosis and treatment of sleep
disorders in adults and children. Her
research interests are the diagnosis
and treatment of RLS, various
treatments for sleep disorders and
treatment compliance.

Themajorityof theMovementDisorders SectionCommittee’swork in thepastmonths
has beendedicated todefining the agenda for theupcomingMovementDisorders Section
Meeting thatwill held at the 28thAnnualMeetingof theAssociatedProfessional SleepSoci-
eties, LLC (SLEEP2014) at theMinneapolisConventionCenter, and in elaborating session
proposals todiscuss. Moreover, in thepast year, a formal proposal to establish a task force to
revise the criteria for respiratory-related legmovementswas proposedby the committee and
is under evaluation.
We are glad to informyou that the SLEEP2014 agenda includes two sessions fromour sec-
tionmembers.Thefirst is apostgraduate course consistingof a theoretical andvideo-poly-
