SLEEP2014 offers physicians the opportunity to earn
asmany as 38.25CME credits. CME credit is awarded
for BrownBagReports, ClinicalWorkshops, Discussion
Groups, Invited Lectures, KeynoteAddress, LunchDebate
sessions, Meet theProfessor sessions, Oral Presentations,
PostgraduateCourses andSymposia. Specific details as
towhich sessions are eligible for CME credit are listed on
theCMEReferenceForm, distributed at registration. Only
those sessions sponsoredby theAPSS and listed on the
CMECredit ClaimForm are eligible for CME credit. Note:
Poster viewing and the Late-breakingAbstract sessions are
not eligible for CME credit.
Credit is awardedbased on the amount of time spent
in each activity (rounded to the nearest quarter hour).

SatisfactoryCompletion
To receiveCME credits, SLEEP2014 attendeesmust
register for CME credit and pay the appropriate fee. The
administrative fees are $25.00 formembers and $40.00
for nonmembers. Individualsmust complete an online
claim form to receiveCME credit. Further informationwill
be detailed on theCMEReferenceForm, distributedat
registration.
TargetAudience for SLEEP2014
Participants of theSLEEP2014meetingwill include
clinicians, scientists, students and other health care
professionals seeking to increase their knowledgeof the
fields of sleepmedicine and sleep research.Attendees
should possess a basic knowledge of biological systems
and/or operational issues inmedical practice.
Overall Educational Objectives
Attendance at SLEEP2014 should give participants a
broad understanding of the current state-of-the-art of sleep
medicine, including current clinical practices usedwhen
investigatingand treating sleep disorders inadults and
children; areas of controversy in clinical practice; recent
basic science research in both animals and humans; and
social, business and political issues relevant to sleep
medicine.
By the end of SLEEP2014, participants shouldbe able to:
1. Summarize relevant information on the latest sleep
research and clinical practices;
2. Identify present issues or challenges in diagnosis/
treatment of sleep disorders, practiceof sleep
medicine or topics related to the field of sleep;
3. Integrate strategies and tools for the enhancement/
advancement of sleepmedicine; and
4. Recognize and have a basic understandingof
common sleep disorders.

SLEEP2014 is co-sponsored byAmedco and the
AssociatedProfessional SleepSocieties, LLC (APSS).
Amedco is approved by theAmericanPsychological
Association to sponsor ContinuingEducation for
psychologists.Amedcomaintains responsibility for this
program and its content.

Psychologistsmay receive up to 37.25 hours of continuing
education credit for attendingSLEEP2014. CE credit
